Magtheridon!

Grats all. Kickass night for Exile all around — dual firsts on both Doomwalker and, shiortly thereafter, Magtheridon.

If you’ve been curious as to what Exile has been up to in weeks recent, well worry no more–Eldreth is here. And darlin’, he’ll make it alllll better.

Karazhan is blah, Gruul’s Lair is blah. I know your guild has been farming them for weeks and lets face it: you guys are scrubs¹. So I’ll just skip all that dull nonsense. Progress on Magtheridon has been slow but steady. We’re still working on him in hopes of a pre-2.1 kill; though personally, I’m just glad we stopped getting LOLOPALOWNED by the trash and have made it far enough to bust up a few blast novas. We’ve made our final preparations for Serpentshrine as well–enough to say hello to Hydross with beginning serious attempts and devote a little extra time to him in our raid schedule. Killshot soon? Stay tuned.

In light of the current emo-esque feeling dampening WoW’s raiding scene (i.e., having to 100% “not suck” in order to get anywhere interesting), several Whisperwind guilds have banded together to do a little old-fashioned wiping to old content in lieu of serious raiding–in Naxxramas of all places! Tonight marked the first ever kill of Kel’thuzad on Whisperwind and Exile was naturally there to represent.

Also, for the first time in quite some time (possibly ever?), Exile is recruiting nearly across the board in all class departments. So, if you’re interested in joining a group of dedicated, intelligent people who raid at least 4 nights a week and mean serious business², now is the time to inquire about applying (check out the forums for info). We generally run a limit to how many classes we have active, but if you’re one of those particularly exceptional players (e.g., at LEAST 95% “not suck”)–we probably have room for ya.
